Parking Info

SDSC is not longer able to provide parking permits for SDRIW attendees. The Center actually has to pay the University for each permit handed out, and like many we're suffering from a very tight budget this year.

We do hope that this does not have an affect on your ability to attend SDRIW. We previously encouraged car pooling because of the limited parking space, we also now encourage it to minimize your parking costs.

Visitors can either use the parking meters at 25 cents per 15 minutes (quarters only), or buy an all-day parking pass for $6. Passes can be purchased at the information kiosk at the Northpoint entrance. They can be used in green "B" spaces and yellow "S" spaces. The permits *cannot* be used in the SDSC lot or in parking meters.

The staff at the information kiosk can also provide campus maps and directions to parking lots. We recommend parking on lots P351 or P357, which are just southwest of the kiosk, or the parking structure located off of Pangea Dr. All are about a 3-5 minute walk from SDSC.

We recommend you allow yourself 10-15 minutes to purchase your permit, find a parking space, and walk to SDSC.
